ChannelUnity Hi Eric, The difficulty here is really as you highlight - our platform is designed to be the listing tool, and its designed to give as much feedback and guidance as possible. It could be more cumbersome to have a disconnected situation where people are setting an attribute live within Magento and expecting it to be live on marketplaces, then check 2 weeks later and see errors.
I can see your point however - we'll keep it in mind. We've got some great updates in the pipeline for the listings screen which should make it much easier and less time consuming to use.

ChannelUnity For the moment, we're not looking to do this because of the danger of products not going live, and having to re-communicate this back to the shopping cart. We will keep an open mind to the idea however.
